An Introduction

In 1998 UMDS and King’s College London merged and in 2001 the Dental Nurse Education & Training Centre followed suit to form what was then called Guy’s, Kings & St Thomas’ Dental Nurse Education & Training Centre (GKT DNETC). GKT DNETC was renamed King’s College Hospital Dental Nurse Education & Training Centre in 2008, one of the largest Dental Nurse Training providers in the country. We are proud of our national and international reputation for quality training and our consistently high examination pass rates. Students that qualify with us are provided with an excellent start to their careers with numerous opportunities for continuing professional development.

Our mission remains the same; ‘The centre is committed to the provision of quality education, training and assessment, promoting strategies and developing plans for greater flexibility and integration within the Oral Healthcare team’ and the staff continue to represent the Centre nationally and internationally to help us achieve this.
